Private Pay Rates
Moonbeam Wellness is a private pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly, but I provide monthly superbills for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement. For clients paying fully out-of-pocket, I offer a tiered pricing model designed to increase accessibility and reflect the different economic realities my clients face.

Moonbeam Wellness uses a three-tiered fee structure — Quarter Moon, Half Moon, and Full Moon — to support financial accessibility while sustaining the practice long-term. This model allows you to choose the rate that best matches your financial reality, no documentation or explanation required (unless you'd like to share more).
Here’s a general guide to selecting your tier:
🌕 Full Moon — For those with stable income, savings, and/or financial security (e.g., home ownership, family wealth, travel budget, retirement fund). This tier helps offset access for others.
🌓 Half Moon — For those with steady income but limited financial flexibility. You can meet basic needs but may have to budget carefully for extras.
🌘 Quarter Moon — For those navigating financial strain, systemic barriers, or low-wage/underpaid work (e.g., students, caregivers, early-career healers, artists, or first-gen professionals).
If your circumstances change, we can always revisit your tier. I trust you to make the choice that feels sustainable for you.

No Show/Late Arrival or Cancellation: Flat Fee | $150
KAP: Varies — discussed during intake (eligible for sliding scale)
One-Time Consultation: Based on time — eligible for sliding scale
Administrative or collateral time (e.g., paperwork, phone calls, care coordination beyond 15 min): $200/hour, billed in 15-min increments
Whenever possible, I recommend using session time to complete paperwork or discuss coordination needs to avoid incurring extra fees.
Please check out my FAQs page to learn more about how to find out whether your insurance plan will reimburse you for some/all of your care.
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept:
Credit & debit cards (processed via SimplePractice & Stripe)

Regardless of payment method, a card must be kept on file to reserve appointments and cover cancellation fees
Existing patients can pay outstanding balances through their SimplePractice app or by logging in to their portal online:
Important Notice Regarding Insurance Reimbursement:
Moonbeam Wellness is a fee-for-service practice, which means I do not accept insurance or submit claims on your behalf. You are financially responsible for the full cost of each session at the time of service.
If you have out-of-network (OON) mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance provider. I’m happy to support this process by providing detailed superbills with all required documentation.
Important:
If you plan to submit for insurance reimbursement, you must select the Full Moon (standard) fee tier. Sliding scale rates (Quarter Moon and Half Moon) are intended only for clients paying fully out of pocket and are not eligible for insurance claims.
It’s your responsibility to verify your out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services prior to your intake.
Need help figuring out if your insurance will reimburse you?
