About me & my practice.

Hello & Welcome

I’m Martyna, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Moonbeam Wellness — a small, intentional practice based in downtown Salem, MA. I created this space for teens and adults who move through the world with sensitivity, strength, and the weight of stories that haven’t always had room to unfold. My work blends clinical insight with curiosity, collaboration, and care that’s actually human.

My style is warm, intuitive, and grounded in both clinical training and deep respect for your lived experience. I believe that symptoms rarely have a single cause — and that your nervous system may be doing exactly what it needed to survive.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I offer both medication management and psychotherapy. My background in counseling, art therapy, and holistic nursing shaped how I practice today: relational, collaborative, and person-centered. I chose the nursing model over the medical one because it centers healing over curing.

I see medication as just one possible tool — not a quick fix. Whether you’re a teenager navigating pressure, identity, or emotional overwhelm, or an adult working through longer-term patterns, we’ll create a plan that fits who you are and what you need. That might include talk therapy, meds, somatic tools, or even guided ketamine sessions to help shift what feels stuck.

I especially enjoy working with fellow clinicians, caregivers, and helpers — folks who are used to showing up for others and are now ready to receive support themselves. I also welcome those navigating the layered experience of being first-generation, bicultural, or shaped by immigration. You don’t have to explain everything — I get it.

I bring my full self to this work — compassionate, sometimes sarcastic, always honest. I value humor, nuance, and real connection. If you’re looking for care that respects your insight, meets you where you are, and makes space for your complexity, you’re in the right place.
